He is active working with portfolio companies in the role of lead investor and has extensive board-level experience. Mark currently sits on the boards of directors of Bunker Hill Capital portfolio companies California Family Fitness, IT Consulting Services Holdings, Specialty Brands Holdings and SunBrite Holding Corporation and sat on the board of directors of Specialty Coating Systems prior to its sale. Prior to founding Bunker Hill Capital, Mark was a Managing Director at BancBoston Capital. Prior to joining BancBoston Capital, Mark worked for Bank of Boston primarily providing financing to middle market companies. Mark holds a B.A. from Boston College.

  Brian E. Kinsman is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Bunker Hill Capital. Brian has over 28 years of experience working as a principal with middle market companies. He is active working with portfolio companies in the role of lead investor and has extensive board-level experience. Brian currently sits on the board of directors of Bunker Hill Capital portfolio companies California Family Fitness and SunBrite Holding Corporation and sat on the board of directors of Specialty Coating Systems prior to its sale. Previously, Brian was the founding partner of Kinsman Capital, a San Diego, CA-based private equity firm. Prior to founding Kinsman Capital, Brian was a Senior Managing Director at Pacific Corporate Group, a principal of Charterhouse Group International, a founding partner of Milley & Company, and an integral member of Dyson-Kissner-Moran Corporation’s acquisition team. Brian’s private equity experience also encompasses several years as a day-to-day operating executive. A Certified Public Accountant, Brian holds a B.A. from Yale University and a M.S. from New York University.

He also worked as a financial analyst in the investment banking group of Robert W. Baird & Co. He also worked as a Vice President in the mergers and acquisitions groups of RBC Capital Markets and Tucker Anthony.
