Bunker Hill Capital, L.P. announced today that is has acquired Specialty Coating Systems, Inc. ("SCS" or the "Company"), a former business unit of Cookson Group plc. SCS, which will continue to do business under the name Specialty Coating Systems, has been the leading global supplier of high-performance conformal Parylene coatings to critical components in the medical, electronics, automotive, and military industries for nearly 35 years.
Headquartered in Indianapolis, IN, SCS has 268 employees in ten facilities around the world. The Company has four locations in the United States: Indianapolis, IN; Clear Lake, WI; Ontario, CA; and Amherst, NH. In Europe, SCS has locations in Woking, United Kingdom and Dublin, Ireland. In Asia, the Company has three locations: Shanghai, China; Tokyo, Japan; and Singapore. In addition, SCS will open a new facility in Costa Rica in January 2006.
