Bunker Hill Capital, L.P. announced today that it, together with management, has acquired Papa Gino's Holdings Corp., a leading quick-service restaurant operator in New England that does business under the Papa Gino's and D'Angelo brands.

Papa Gino's Holdings Corp., headquartered in Dedham, Massachusetts, has a total of 370 company-owned, franchised and licensed restaurants located throughout New England and plans to expand into adjacent markets through franchising.

Thomas J. Galligan III, Chairman, CEO, and President of the company, is enthusiastic about the role of his new private equity sponsor. "We partnered with Bunker Hill Capital because they are successful investors who have a proven track record as an innovative, pro-active, and value-added partner. We look forward to working with Bunker Hill Capital to execute our strategic plan of building two great brands and creating long term value. This is an exciting time for both of our organizations as we look to a bright future filled with opportunities for growth."

Papa Gino's Holdings Corp. owns two dominant New England quick-service restaurant concepts: the Papa Gino's brand which operates in the pizza/Italian segment and the D'Angelo brand operating in the sandwich segment.
